“World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics in Baku - one of best tournaments”

The FIG World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics in Baku is one of the best competitions, Polish gymnast Artur Zakrzewski told reporters March 6.
Zakrzewski was awarded with AGF Trophy for the highest score in the competitions among men.

The tournament has been organized at the highest level and everything is wonderful, said the gymnast.

“It is one of the best organized events in which I have participated,” said Zakrzewski. “It is my first finals and I am very glad,” he added.

“Moreover, it is the first final in individual events for Poland since 1980. Therefore, I am proud of myself,” said the gymnast.

The FIG World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics was held March 5-6 at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.

Athletes from Europe, Japan, Australia and the US participated in the World Cup. Overall, 77 gymnasts (46 men and 31 women), who represent 17 countries, participated in the competitions.
