The FIG World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics in Baku has been organized at such a great level that it reminds of the Olympic Games, says George Drew, the US gymnastics team’s program director for trampoline and tumbling.
People are working here as if they prepare for the Olympics, Drew, who is also a representative of the US delegation at the World Cup, told Trend March 4.
He said the FIG World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics in Baku is very important for the US team, adding the squad will be able to test its gymnastics programs and find out its faults.
He also praised the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, saying he is very impressed.
The FIG World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics will be held at the National Gymnastics Arena March 5-6.
Overall, 77 gymnasts (46 men and 31 women), representing 17 countries, will participate in the tournament.
