Joint Azerbaijan Championships in gymnastics run in Baku

Joint Azerbaijan Championships among Age Categories in Artistic Gymnastics and Acrobatic Gymnastics kicked off at the National Gymnastics Arena on December 3.

The three-day competition will involve 62 athletes from different national gymnastic schools.

On the first day of the event, representatives of the Baku Gymnastics School, "Neftchi" sports club and Nizami district sports school will perform at the arena.

The acrobats aged between 12 and 18, included in the men's and mixed doubles competitions, as well as men's and women's groups will show balance, tempo and combined exercises.

Women’s pairs and groups between 11 and 16 will perform execute balance and dynamic exercises.

Next day, the arena will host women's artistic gymnastics, where representatives of the Olympic style competition will participate.

Girls representing Baku’s gymnastics school, “Netchi” and “Ojag Sport” born in 2003-2005, 2006-2007, 2008-2009, and 2008-2010 will compete in the all around.

Boys’ competitions will start on December 5. The athletes born in 1998-2000, 2001-2002, 2003-2004, 2005-2006 and 2007-2008 will compete for the title. All the competitions will start at 12:00.
