Azerbaijani karate fighters grab 4 medals in Jakarta

Azerbaijani karate fighters have claimed 4 medals at the 9th World Junior, Cadet and Under 21 Karate Championships 2015 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Irina Zaretska and Fidan Teymurova won the silver medals in the women`s 68kg and 47kg weight categories respectively, while Eljan Mammadrzayev took silver in the men`s 61kg division.

Another Azerbaijani karate fighter Hummat Bakhshaliyev scooped the bronze medal of the championships in the 57kg class.

The championships brought together 1420 karate fighters from 91 countries.
