National taekwondo fighter wins gold in Russia

The seventh International Taekwondo Tournament "Elbrus Cup" among young men and juniors is underway in Nalchik, Russia on December 2-5.

The traditional tournament is taking place in Nachalnik Universal Sports Complex.

More than 600 men and women’s sportsmen from 27 Russian regions as well as from Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Armenia, Jordanien and Korea are taking part in this competition.

The national sportsmen, Fizam Mehdiyev at 55kg, defeating all his rivals, gained the gold medal of the tournament.
