National boxers bring eight medals from Serbia

The 57th edition of Golden Glove, Elite Men Boxing Tournament was held in Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia on November 27-December 1.

Azerbaijan was represented by the nine national best boxers. They successfully participated in the competition, gaining eight medals, including three gold, three silver and two bronze medals.

The winners of the first places became Valeh Ramazanov at 64kg, Teymur Mammadov at 91kg and Kamran Mehtiyev + 91kg.

Rufat Huseynov at 49k, Elnur Shafiyev at 52kg and Elvin Gambarov at 81 with a slight point gave way to rivals in the final and took the second places.

Others, including Farid Agamoglanov at 56kg and Roman Zakirov at 69kg gained the bronze medals of the competition.
