Inter's new boss says 'Messi possible'

18 November 2013 [18:00] - TODAY.AZ
Inter Milan's new Indonesian owner Erick Thohir who has taken over from Massimo Morati, has started off on his new responsibilities very forcefully. After joking, at his presentation ceremony, that "anyone who doesn't jump is a 'rossonero'", a reference to AC Milan, he did not rule out signing Messi. "Buy Messi? Why not? I'll talk to the manager", he said. This cocky line figures on the front page of this Sunday's 'Corriere dello Sport' paper.

A month back, Inter Milan's Thiago Motta also spoke about Messi maybe coming to Inter. "If Messi ever leaves Barcelona then the first club he'd think of coming to would be Inter Milan. He is still young but sooner or later the time will come for him to change clubs", said the ex-Barça player on the Italian club's official TV channel.
