Azerbaijani wrestlers ranked 2nd in team competition in Minsk

Azerbaijani national Greco-Roman wrestling team took the second place of the 19th international tournament dedicated to the memory of Olympic Champion Oleg Karavayev in Minsk, capital city of Belarus.

Greco-Roman wrestling teams from 10 countries, Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, France, Georgia, the USA, Poland and Belarus tested their strength to become the winner of the tournament. 

Azerbaijani national team led by senior coach Shaban Donat has been represented by 7 athletes including Eldaniz Azizli weighing in at 55 kg, Kamran Mammadov at 60 kg, Hasan Aliyev at 66 kg, Niyamaddin Ibrahimov at 74 kg, Elmaddin Abdullayev at 84 kg, Araz Hasanov at 96 kg and Zaur Mehraliyev at 120 kg.
