Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers compete at int'l tournament

Azerbaijani national Greco-Roman wrestling team to be headed by senior coach Shaban Donat will compete in the 19th international tournament dedicated to the memory of Olympic Champion Oleg Karavayev to start on Saturday in Minsk, capital city of Belarus.

Greco-Roman wrestling teams from 10 countries, Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, France, Georgia, the USA, Poland and Belarus will test their strength to become the winner of the tournament. 

Azerbaijani national team to be represented by 7 athlete will include Eldaniz Azizli weighing in at 55 kg, Kamran Mammadov at 60 kg, Hasan Aliyev at 66 kg, Niyamaddin Ibrahimov at 74 kg, Elmaddin Abdullayev at 84 kg, Araz Hasanov at 96 kg and Zaur Mehraliyev at 120 kg. Asif Shiraliyev, internationally certified referee, will also represent Azerbaijan and assist judge the matches.
