“King of Boxing” will be announced

The President of the WBC, Jose Sulaiman, pledged that the former heavyweight champion, Muhammad Ali will attend to the WBC Annual Convention which starts on December 2nd in Cancun.

“Muhammad Ali will be present at the fiftieth anniversary celebrations of the WBC. This will be the first time in 10 years that Ali will attend a boxing event. He has been awarded and honoured by so many, but nothing to do with boxing. The WBC is like a home for him, and that's why he has agreed to attend and being named King of Boxing," Don Jose explained, adding: “We have worked hard so he can come to join us in the Convention. We already have his golden crown. The naming of Muhammad Ali as King of Boxing has been approved by 12 of the greatest WBC champions who last month were in Las Vegas to help auction exquisite Hublot watches, to create the first boxing pension to help former champions who have fallen in hard times”.
