On 21-28 July, Baku will host the International Women's Tennis Tournament of WTA BAKU Cup 2012 series, PASHA Bank said today.
32 sportswomen from Azerbaijan, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Slovenia, Spain, Hungary and other countries will meet this year in the tournament for the title of top-rank female tennis-player.
Kamilla Farhad, a young tennis-player, will represent our country in the tournament.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports, the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Tennis Federation, SOCAR, PASHA Bank and other organizations are giving formal support to the tournament.
Prize Money of the tournament in the series of WTA (Women's Tennis Association) totals $220,000. Tennis matches will take place at the Baku Tennis Academy courts and be open to the public.
