Azerbaijani judokas get 7 Olympic licenses

Azerbaijani judo fighters have gained 7 licenses for London Olympic Games. The winners of Olympic licenses have been defined after the European Championship in Chelyabinsk.

Ilgar Mushkiyev(60kg), Tarlan Karimov (66kg), Elnur Mammadli and Elkhan Rajabli (81kg), Elkhan Mammadov (90kg), Elmar Gasimov (100kg), Kifayet Gasimova (57kg), Ramila Yusubova (63kg) have provided Olympic licenses, according to the schedule of Olympic qualifying of International Judo Federation. It is thus the 49th Olympic license to London for Azerbaijan.

According to the rules of the IJF, each country can be represented by only 1 judoka in each weight category in Olympic Games. For this purpose, in 81kg weight category Azerbaijan will be represented by either Olympic Champion Elnur Mammadli or Elkhan Rajabli.
