Azerbaijani athletes win golds at European Weightlifting Championship

The European Weightlifting Championship has continued in Antalya. After successful results of Valentin Xristov and Silviya Angelova, 2 more Azerbaijani athletes - female weightlifter Boyanka Kostova (53kg) and male athlete Afgan Bayramov (69 kg) vie for medals in the championship.

First, Boyanka Kostova lifted 215 kg (98+117) as a result of two exercises and became the European champion. Then,  Bayramov has won a gold medal in the 69-kg category in the European Championships. Bayramov lifted a total of 321 kg (143 in the snatch +178 in the clean and jerk), which was enough for him to overtake his closest rivals.
