Azerbaijani taekwondo fighter becomes world champion

The Azerbaijani taekwondo team achieved a great victory at the World Junior Taekwondo Championships in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt.  Azerisport.com reports that Azerbaijani taekwondo fighter Farida Azizova (68 kg), who already secured the Olympic license, defeated Dutch fighter Aylin Akdeniz in the final and won the gold medal.

The Azerbaijan team is led by coach Gunduz Abdullayev and Korean specialist Sun Mi Park.The championship will run until April 8.
