AFFA announces contest for commercial name of Baku stadium - PHOTOS

Given the international practice, AFFA puts on sale the commercial name of the stadium built on the 8th kilometer. According to AFFA,  the games with participation of the Azerbaijani national teams of different ages, Premier league clubs and lower league teams will be held on the 11-seat arena with natural cover along with the matches of the upcoming U-17 women’s world cup.

In this view, the company which wins the right to  give its name to the stadium will get great advantages. The initial cost of the commercial name is AZN 500,000, VAT excluded. Minimal term of an agreement is three years. Companies can apply in 45 days. There are a number of stadiums in the world that have got the name of companies as London Emirates,  Istanbul  Turk Telecom Arena.
