AFFA head speaks about Euro-2020 bid

The issue of holding the European Football Championship in 2020 in Azerbaijan and Georgia is currently under consideration, the president of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) Rovnag Abdullayev told journalists.

Abdullayev said more accurate information will be revealed after a detailed discussion of this issue. In the meantime, this issue will not be discussed at the Conference League in Istanbul.
UEFA will announce the country which will host the European Championship 2020 in 2014.

On Wednesday, Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, aid at Azerbaijan Parliament, that Azerbaijan and Georgia intend to act as the countries at which the European football championship in 2020can take place.
