Azerbaijan seeks to develop rugby sports

Meeting with famous rugby player Dean Richards was today held here. Representatives of Azerbaijan Rugby Union Vagif Saadatkhan, Emil Aliyev, and Sean Nolan were also present at the meeting.

The guest was informed about the current rugby situation in the country, achievements and problems were also in the focus of the meeting. The sides exchanged views on international tournament among the juvenile dedicated to the memory of Heydar Aliyev to be held in April.

The Archive photos of Dinamo club were presented at the meeting. Dean Richards is a former England and British and Irish Lions rugby union player. He had a long playing career with Leicester Tigers, and played 48 times for England and six times for the British and Irish Lions.
