European karate championship kicks off in Baku

The 39th European junior and youth karate championship has today started here. The three-day championship will bring together more than 700 fighters from 40 countries. Azerbaijan will be represented by 26 fighters at the championship.

Azeri cadet fighters weighting at 52 kg Huseyn Aliyev weighting in at 52 kg, Javid Ganiyev at 57 kg, Vusal Kamalli at 63 kg, Farid Aliyev and Sarkhan Guluzade at 70 kg are competing at the first day of the championship.
