06 February 2012 [16:27] - TODAY.AZ
The games of the Azerbaijan National Football Championship may be canceled.  If the weather is to further deteriorate in Azerbaijan, then matches of the Unibank Premier League to be held later this week will be postponed, Professional Football League  President Ramin Musayev told Trend.

He said most of the stadiums in Baku have artificial turf grass and therefore it would be difficult to clear snow from the stadiums.

The first matches of the Unibank Premier League are scheduled for Feb.10-11.  The XIX round matches to be held on Feb.10 are Azal (Baku) - Sumgait (Sumgait), Karabakh (Aghdam) - Simurg (Zagatala) and Feb.11 - Turan (Tovuz) - Khazar Lankaran (Lankaran), Inter (Baku) – Ravan (Baku), Kapaz (Ganja) - Gabala (Gabala), Baki  (Baku) -Neftchi (Baku).
