Azerbaijani Human Rights Commissioner appeals to National Television and Radio Council

Human Rights Commissioner Elmira Suleymanova appealed to the National Television and Radio Council.

In order to eliminate the problems of the partially or fully deaf people in getting necessary information Elmira Suleymanova asked the Council to take measures to insert captions in the information programs, other TV programs, including those covering the problems of the handicapped persons’ social integration into society.

Human Rights Commissioner also offered to release films and video products with captions.
