Azerbaijan University of Languages hosts "round table" on higher education project

A "round table" on higher education project within grants program was organized by the Ministry of Education at Azerbaijan University of Languages Wednesday.

Addressing the event, representative of the Ministry Ilham Mustafayev provided information about the project reflecting governing principles in higher educational institutions.

Mustafayev also underlined the attendance of local and foreign advisors in the project built-up.

Executive director of Strategic Planning and Institutional Research, Pratt Institute, USA and advisor of the World Bank Vladimir Briller made presentation "Azerbaijan:
improvement of higher education governing's strategy". He informed the participants on principles of Protectors Council in higher schools, representation criteria at the Council and main mechanisms of governing.
