Azerbaijani customs officers confiscated a large amount of undeclared notes from Japanese citizens. Japanese citizens Katsunori Hedo and Kota Kido arrived at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport and entered the customs control zone to fly to Turkey via the Baku - Istanbul flight, and from there to China, to Hong Kong city, the State Customs Committee said.
When passing customs control the Main Customs Department’s employee asked these passengers whether they have things on them or in luggage, which must be declared. They said they are not carrying a currency or other items that need to be declared.
