Azerbaijan's President got acquainted with improvement woks in Sabunchu district of Baku - PHOTOS

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited Sabunchu settlement of Baku over on-site inspection of what have been done thus far to implement instructions the Head of State gave with respect to socio-economic development of suburban settlements of Azerbaijan's capital.

Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalybov briefed the Head of State on the works done in the settlement. President Ilham Aliyev viewed a photo stand reflecting the previous state of the area around Sabunchu railway station.

The Head of State was told sewer, water and communication lines around Sabunchu station were renewed.

The Aslidar Mammadaliyev Street, which covers 28 thousand square meters, got double asphalt cover. Moreover, preparation works are underway to pave 22 thousand square meters - intersettlement streets with asphalt.

Reconstruction works in the building of Sabunchu station have already been completed.

President Ilham Aliyev met residents of the settlement. They thanked the Head of State for the improvement works.
