Azerbaijani Hajj pilgrims to travel to Mina, Muzdalifah by train

Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh, who is on a visit to Saudi Arabia, met with Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu at the OIC headquarters in Jeddah.

A number of issues, including latest developments in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as its impact on the Islamic world were discussed at the meeting. Pashazadeh also met Saudi Hajj minister in Medina and discussed the prospects of extension of spiritual relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia, as well as conditions created for the Azerbaijani Hajj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.

According to the agreement reached at this meeting, Azerbaijani Hajj pilgrims will travel to Mina and Muzdalifah by train this year and problems with delaying of flights during Hajj pilgrimage were also discussed at the meeting.
