Indonesian Embassy in Azerbaijan officially opened

The Embassy of Indonesia in Azerbaijan has officially opened on Friday.

Addressing the event, chargé d'affaires Agus Trimartono described the opening of the emabassy as an important event.

The diplomat noted relations between the two countries were developing successfully.
Trimartono noted his country attaches great importance to development of relations with Azerbaijan.

He said in spite of great distance between Azerbaijan and Indonesia, the two countries have a lot in common. He added the two countries also support each-other within international organizations.

Trimartono expressed confidence that the opening of the Embassy in Baku would contribute to developing bilateral cooperation in various spheres even more.
The event gathered Azerbaijani state and government officials, representatives of international organizations and diplomatic corps, parliamentarians, journalists.
