Corruption related cases of four Azerbaijani custom officers submitted to court - UPDATE

The Azerbaijani State Customs Committee sent the investigation materials on the criminal case towards 11 people accused of corruption, four of whom are employees of the committee, to the court, chairman of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee, Aydin Aliyev, told media.

He said that members of this gang are accused of falsifying documents, corruption and other crimes. Four members of this group are employees of the committee. It also included representatives from several companies.

He said that the criminal case is under investigation within a year. The chairman of the committee said that the internal security department of the committee receives requests from citizens.
