Azerbaijani official participates in conference "Russian language in foreign countries" in Moscow

Official of Strategic studies Center under President of Azerbaijan, Gulshan Pashayeva, participates in a two-day conference “Russian language in foreign countries” in Moscow.

Forum participants will discuss prospects of development of Russian languages in different countries of world, including post-soviet states. Addressing a conference, Mrs. Pashayeva said Russian language is taught in the kindergartens, schools and universities in Azerbaijan. Citizens of Azerbaijan have the right to choose a language their kid will learn at the school or kindergarten, said Pashayeva.

Roundtable meetings on a variety of Russian language will be also held within the conference.
