Armenian soldier killed in shooting on contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian armies

A soldier of the Armenian army was killed in a shooting on the contact line between Azerbaijani and Armenian troops on Wednesday.

Armenia says soldier of the Armenian army Hovik Mkrtichevich Sukiasyan was killed during the incident, according to Armenia Today website.

The so-called “NKR Defense Army” press service said the Azerbaijani side incurred more losses. “NKR” said the ceasefire was violated by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and assessed this fact as Azerbaijan’s next provocation.

Azerbaijani Defense Ministry’s spokesman Teymur Abdullayev told APA that soldier of Azerbaijani army Shamil Sadigov was wounded during ceasefire violation by Armenian side and the enemy was silenced with retaliatory fire: “Azerbaijani side did not suffer any losses, except for the mentioned on. This is just another false fact from the Armenian side."
