Park to be named after Heydar Aliyev in Odessa

A park in the Ukrainian city of Odessa will be named after Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev, it was noted during a meeting between Odessa Mayor Alexei Kostusev and Azerbaijani ambassador to Ukraine Eynulla Madatli.
 
Ambassador’s visit to Odessa aimed to discuss cooperation in various spheres including laying a park named after Heydar Aliyev.

The ambassador said several locations are considered for the park, which, in his view, it will be interesting both for Odessa people and tourists. The possibility to make Odessa and Baku twin cities is also being considered.
