"New space technology to be brought to Azerbaijan"

A new space technology is expected to be brought to Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan`s Deputy ICT Minister Elmir Valizade said.

He noted significant works were underway in the country to create an artificial satellite. Valizade added Azerbaijan would launch its artificial satellite into orbit in 2012.

“This will contribute to development of ICT sector in Azerbaijan even more.”
