Armenian soldiers hit mines in Azerbaijan

Armenian soldiers got into a minefield and were severely injured in Armenia-occupied Kalbajar town of Azerbaijan due to a fog on December 29, according to the Armenia’s "Hrapark” newspaper.

Armenia’s Ministry of Defense did issue a statement about the incident. Ministry’s spokesman David Karapetyan confirmed the fact noting that the contract employees Mihran Arakelian and Vahan Margaryan got injuries of varying degrees.

Currently, they are in a military hospital. According to some reports, the explosion has even caused an amputation. "The soldiers are on the mend,” Karapetyan added.
