Pedestrian dies as cars collide in Baku

A fatal road accident occurred on Ziya Bunyadov Avenue in Baku on Thursday, Baku Central Police Office said.

"Daewoo" car driven by Mehman Aliyev collided with "Shevrolet Lacetti" driven by Ilkin Ahmadov. As a result, the latter knocked down pedestrian Nabi Sultanov who was taken to hospital where he died.

A probe has been launched to learn details of the incident.
