Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences to conduct admission to doctorate in spring

“Most of the organizations to conduct admission to doctorate have submitted their admission plans to Azerbaijan National Academy of Science (ANAS). Thereafter, these plans will be analyzed and common admission plan will be adopted for doctorate.

And then admission to doctorate will be announced. This process will not last more than a month”, said ANAS President Mahmoud Karimov, APA reports. To him, ANAS is intending to conduct admission to doctorate during spring session: “Recently, admission was held only during autumn session. But formerly, admission was held both during spring and autumn sessions. We will try to conduct admission during both sessions”.

Karimov noted that during admission to doctorate there would be tests on professional subject, informatics and foreign languages: “We offer to test knowledge on informatics of people intending to be admitted to doctorate at ANAS. And it would be better if exams on professional subject were conducted in different places”.
