Azerbaijan, Kuwait discuss prospects for cooperation

Azerbaijan's visiting Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met with Kuwaiti Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

They discussed the results of the first meeting of Azerbaijan-Kuwait intergovernmental commission.

The parties stressed the necessity to effectively use the existing potential for expanding bilateral relations.

The Kuwaiti Prime Minister underlined the importance of launching flights between the countries.

He also stressed the need to boost cooperation between the oil companies.

Mammadyarov briefed the Kuwaiti Prime Minister on the peace talks on the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the country's achievements in the economic field.

They also exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest.
