Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University professor killed

A murder took place in Azerbaijani capital, Khatai district Police Department told APA.

The incident has been recorded today about 16.30 at M. Hadi street 63/36. Mahrukh Mehdi Aliyeva was killed by unknown persons. The investigation group came to the site after the information was received.

The investigation revealed that Aliyeva lived alone. According to the preliminary version, the unknown persons came to this address on purpose of robbery.

The criminal case has been launched on the fact. The investigation is underway. Aliyeva was a professor of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.
