Hell on the road: 4 cars collide, 1 child dies in northern Azerbaijan

Passengers in all four vehicles were injured and taken to a central clinical hospital of Khachmaz region of Azerbaijan. Khachmaz Regional Police Office said the accident was caused by high speed in a foggy weather. The accident occurred after a Gazel vehicle tried to overtake.

As a result, Gazel collided with VAZ-2107 and VAZ-099 smashed into a pick-up truck, near the bridge of Yerguj village.

Seven-months-old Isa Zakiyev who was admitted to hospital in serious condition, died later. According to traumatologist of the hospital Agalarov Guliyev, two victims who received minor injuries were discharged after examination. The driver of VAZ-2107 Orujali Orujov has the most severe condition. He is currently in a state of painful shock with broken ribs and head trauma.
