62-year-old craftsman builds helicopter in Azerbaijan

Resident of Samur village of Azerbaijan’s Gusar region, 62-year-old Mirzakhan Imamguliev, who is accountant by profession, built up a small chopper. Reportedly, it took him 3000 manats, and 3 years to make it.

The homemade helicopter is equipped with a motor vehicle from "Zaporozhets" and wheels from a bike.

The chopper weights 280 kg has a length of 5 m and a height of 2 meters 20 centimeters. The master says that the aircraft will be fully ready next year, and it would require extra $1,000 manat. Upon completion of the work he intends to get permission of the National Air Service to start using it.
