Azerbaijan to produce space-qualified hardware

The Ministry of Defense Industry told APA that the civil-purpose devices, blocks for interior communications, switch keys for radio stations, headsets for summer are being mastered for usage in the Armed Forces.

The Ministry also said the National Airspace Agency is taking steps to establish the modern observation network and warning system. Due to the space research done by the agency, new results have been produced in the development of the expert system on taking operational decisions in extreme situations, creation of digital maps of the occupied territories and border zones, routes of typical strategic facilities and optimal deployment.
