Oguz-Gabala water pipeline starts supplying drinking water to Baku

The water through newly constructed Oguz-Gabala-Baku water pipeline has reached Baku. Baku’s surrounding villages and settlements are started to be supplied with this water.

Note that, the total cost of the civil-engineering design of an Oguz-Gabala-Baku water pipeline is estimated in 480 million manats. The new pipeline will deliver in Baku water in volume of 5 cubic metres per second. Total length of this pipeline is 251454 meter with 80 pipes.

Seven water reservoirs were constructed for providence of pipeline’s work and water pump stations have been constructed in 11 points of capital. Besides, management and control systems were set for permanent control of pipeline.
