Azerbaijani Railways to put high-speed train into operation during day-offs

In order to reduce the density of passenger traffic during the World Azerbaijanis' Solidarity Day and New Year JSC "Azerbaijan Railways" will put a high-speed passenger train Baku-Boyuk Kasik-Baku ¹ 94-93 into operation, Azerbaijani Railways said today.

According to the company, the train will be operated from Baku on Dec.29-30 2010 and Jan.2-3 2011, while from Boyuk Kasik - Dec.30-31 2010 and Jan.3-4 2011.

During the day-offs, the JSC will operate in intensified work regime. In order to prevent overload every day at least 10-15 cars will join the passenger trains, operating on internal trips, and sometimes their number will reach roughly 20-30 units.
