Train ticket shortage in Azerbaijan due to New Year holidays

According to existing rules, sale of ticket for December 30, has been started in the morning, today and all tickets have been sold in several hours.

Azerbaijan Railways' spokesman Nadir Azmammadov says selling of the tickets so quickly is related to the increase of passengers sharply and implementation of ticket sales via computer system in all regions of the country: “Presently, the tickets are being sold in 50 booking-offices”.

A train ticket shortage was observed in Azerbaijan, in connection with New Year Holiday. According to him, near 20 wagons will be coupled to train from December 27. In addition, 30 wagons will be coupled on December 29-30.
