Smuggled diamond seized at the Baku airport

Diamond smuggling has been prevented in Azerbaijan as a result of joint operation carried out by the State Customs Committee and Ministry of National Security, SCC told APA.

The Committee told that Azerbaijani citizen Huseynov Elvin Elmar’s luggage was checked at Baku airport. He arrived in Baku from United Arab Emirates by #FZ705 Dubai-Baku flight. 18 little different measured, 360,8 g total weight diamond stones packed up in transparent overwraps were revealed and taken from that luggage.
