
Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations will hold joint exercises with relevant organizations of neighboring countries for the purpose of eliminating consequences of any states of emergency, Minister of Emergency Situations Kemaleddin Heydarov told journalists.
According to him, the ministry and its structures hold various exercises in order to increase professionalism of the personnel: “We have cooperation agreements with a number of countries. Within this framework, joint exercises are going to be held for elimination of consequences of states of emergency near the border regions”.
According to the Minister, officials of the Ministry of Emergency Situations attend the Command Staff Exercises in various countries and have joint working plans with Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Turkey. The future exercises are considered within the framework of these plans: “We plan to carry out command staff exercises with these countries”.
