Man destroys dozens of headstones in north-eastern region of Azerbaijan

Part of the tombs has been excavated and some headstones are doused with black paint. In response to the complaints of citizens, local police started proceedings. 54-year-old Arif Aliyev was detained as a result.

The detainee explained his strange actions saying that this cemetery has spoilage against his family. Aliyev is held in a temporary detention facility. He will undergo examination to determine his mental state.
