Radio Manufacturing Plant blast kills one in Baku this morning - UPDATE

Individuals killed and injured during an explosion at the Radio Manufacturing Plant in Baku have been identified, Khatai district police said.

Worker of the plant Imaret Jafarova, 50, died as a result of the incident. Another employee Almaz Valiyeva, 56 was hospitalized. The fire has been put out by firefighters. Currently, officials of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and District Prosecutor’s Office are viewing the area.

An explosion took place at the Radio Manufacturing Plant in Baku, Khatai district police said.

The incident took place at 09.30 on Monday. The blast caused a fire and killed a woman. She has not been identified yet. The firefighting brigade immediately arriving at site is extinguishing the fire now.
