"Freedom to Hijab" rally run in front of Azerbaijani Education Ministry

School students of Baku and the country's region and parents organized the rally. The protesters marched from the former Garabag inn to the Azerbaijani Education Ministry voicing the slogans "Freedom to Hijab" and "Allahu akbar".

The protesters limited the traffic movement on the road in front of the ministry.

Earlier, Azerbaijani Education Minister Misir Mardanov stated, that "all children must where a school uniform."

"Our decision on this question is categorical," he pointed out. "There is a school uniform and children should stick to these established rules."
