Azerbaijani ruling party pays tribute to national leader

The leadership of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) has today visited the Alley of Honors to commemorate national leader Heydar Aliyev.

NAP Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary Ali Ahmedov, NAP Deputy Executive Secretary Siyavush Novruzov, Parliamentary Deputy Speakers Ziyafet Askerov and Bahar Muradova, Baku Metro Head Tagi Ahmadov and other party activists paid tribute to Heydar Aliyev.

Ali Ahmedov told journalists that the Azerbaijani people will always respect Heydar Aliyev's memory. National Leader Heydar Aliyev passed away on Dec.12, 2003.
