Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations to purchase new helicopters

Airpark of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations is considering a new line of development, Chief of the Aviation group of MES, Colonel Ashraf Gasimov said.

Speaking about recent widening of airpark and professionalism of cockpit personnel Gasimov said that new flying vehicles were planned for purchasing in the future.

Gasimov noted that “Mi-17” and “Ka-21” helicopters would be purchased in this framework as well.

"Under our order, application opportunities in both fire-extinguishing and search and rescue operations are considered during the production of these helicopters."
