"America in my dreams" contest wraps up

A contest titled “America in my dreams” organized by the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts in partnership with the Embassy of the United States to Azerbaijan wrapped up.

This is a second exhibition organized in partnership with the Embassy of the United States, according to Sahlab Mammadov, pro-rector of the Academy. The exposition features works in the genre of sculpture, painting and drawing of 65 students.

US Embassy official Terry Davidson emphasized that all exhibited works of young artists are permeated with interest to America. The diplomat said he is delighted with how the students depicted American realities, though they have never been there The Embassy of the United States is ready to support young talents, Davidson said.

The winners of the contest received certificates and prizes.
