Counterfeiter detained in Azerbaijan

A counterfeiter, wanted by Azerbaijani and Russian law enforcement agencies, was detained in Azerbaijan. Mammad Makhmudov, wanted by Azerbaijan and Russia, was detained as a result of operational search operations conducted by the 18th Narimanov District Police Office and Salyan District Police, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry said. The detainee is accused of making and selling faked money. The investigation is underway.
